It may be you have a split axle. This will require taking off the inspection cover on the pumpkin: there you will have to take off the c- ring (it holds it in place), this will allow you to remove the axle. And here we go.... Jack the car up, remove the tire, remove the caliber(remember when you replace this caliber and brakes, you'll need a c-clamp to sqeeze it back together in order to fit it over the rotor), remove the rotor, And after the c-clip is removed this will allow your axle to slide out, You will then be able to remove the bearings. Good luck with your project!
Wilke339's answer:
The bearing is bolted to the back side of the steering knuckle. Swapping it on this particular vehicle is relatively involved and probably not a job for most DIY'rs. It involves removal of the drive axle nut, brake caliper, separation of the lower ball joint and tie rod, removal of hub bearing housing bolts, and possibly heating of the knuckle with a torch to drive the bearing housing out with a punch and big hammer.
(On this vehicle, there is no "inspection cover on the pumpkin", and the drive axles are not removed by taking off a C-clip. There is no need to remove the drive axle for this job anyway.)
