yes it will but you need to change the front brackets up
Disconnect negative battery cable, drain chaincase, remove outer chaincase cover, bend jackshaft lock tab away from bolt head, hold pinion gear in place and remove jackshaft bolt (righthand threads). The jackshaft assembly will then slide out. Reverse procedure to install new jackshaft.

Actually , the 4.0 L SOHC engine has 3 timing chains - main chain from crankshaft to " jackshaft " ( which is in the same location as the camshaft on the 4.0 L OHV ) a chain from the jackshaft to the drivers side cylinder head at the front of the engine , and a third chain from the jackshaft to the passenger side cylinder head at the back of the engine - good luck
You cannot change the compressor bearing, however, you can change the clutch bearing. Which one is bad? Is there a noise when the clutch is engaged, or not engaged?
