How do you change a mass air flow sensor on a 1997 Grand Prix GT V6 3800?

On top of the intake, near the throttle body, you will see about a 2 inch square box with wires coming into the front and two torx safety screws in opposite corners. That is the MAF. Unplug the connector and unscrew the screws. The sensor should lift right out. Reverse the process to put the new one in.

You will find that at the front of the engine, where the serpentine belt is located. Unplug the connector to the MAP sensor and then you will have to unclip the sensor itself.
