If you are talking about the brake light, the rear light on the top then you need to open the tailgate (liftgait). Pop off the two screw covers on the light assambly. Take out the two screws, then comes the hard part. You can either pull strait out and hope you dont break the locking pin or use a 2mm flat rope or string, slide it around the outside of the assembly then give a great pull to pop the pin. Be careful and good luck!
