The procedures vary wildly between types. You'll have to ask a more specific question that includes the make, model and year.
Remove the rear wheel, then the wheel hub should be on four bolts. Remove the bolts and remove the hub. Very easy job.

sorry to have to tell you this but the bearings are part of the wheel hub and sealed within. you need to change the entire hub. $$$$$$$
if its the hub it self then its a axle change.
You can change the front wheel bearings on your 2000 Buick Regal without replacing the entire hub assembly. You can change each individual wheel bearing, if you choose.
you have to replace the wheel bearing hub assembly look up a picture and you will see the bolts are attached to the hub assembly.

Remove the brake caliper and rotor, through the hole in the face of the hub(where the wheel studs are) remove bolts that hold the hub and bearing to the steering knuckle. Tap hub and bearing assy from knuckle. The hub and bearing is one part.
