I submitted this question and found the answer. The bolt is an 1 1/16" for the manifold exhaust that connects to the EGR valve. You will have to take a cutting torch and heat the bolt only have someone do it who is good with on because the fuel lines are below the valve and dip stick next to it. After you do work the bolt of be careful not to snap of the pipe. Then remove the other 2 bolts 10mm and replace the gasket and valve. Also, put some high temperature white lithium grease on the bolts in case you have to take it off again.

Starting with the 1995 model of Ford Explorer the automatic transmission was ELECTRONICALLY controlled , so there is no modulator valve
On my 1995 the PCV valve is on the engine valve cover , on the driver side , near the rear of the valve cover
On a 1995 Ford Explorer : No ( at least my 1995 Ford Explorer XLT doesn't )
Starting with the 1995 model year of Ford Explorer the automatic transmissions were electronically controlled ( so as far as I know there is no modulator valve )
Change the pcv valve in the valve cover.
From 1991 to 1995 the only engine available in the Ford Explorer was the 4.0 liter OHV ( over head valve ) V6 - six cylinder engine
I'm not a mechanic / technician but from what I have read there are ( 3 ) different engine blocks for the Ford 4.0 liter Over Head Valve , V6 engine ( 1991 to 1994 Ford Explorer ) ( 1995 and 1996 Ford Explorer ) ( 1997 to 2000 Ford Explorer ) * so I would say the answer is ( no )

Where is the EGR valve located on a 2000 Ford Explorer
were is valve from ford explorer 2002 eng 4.0 were is valve from ford explorer 2002 eng 4.0
over head valve ( also known as a pushrod engine ) The Ford 4.0 liter EFI engine is an over head valve engine ( that's what I have in my 1995 Ford Explorer )
On a 1995 Ford Explorer : You add engine oil to the engine through the extension tube located on the top of the passenger side engine valve cover , near the front of the valve cover ( it has a cap on it and it's near the top radiator rubber hose )
