Under the transmission casing there is a drain plug place a container under it and remove the plug taking the Transmission Fluid dip stick out first. when all the fluid is out replace the plug, make sure it's tight. ALWAYS USE ORIGINAL HONDA ATFfrom Dealer
Pour ATF into the same hole that the dip stick came from checking the level with the dip stick, don't over fill.
I would say you have to change ATF every 15000 miles or 24000 km
As this job involves working under the car always use axle stands, never work under a car on a jack!
Good luck!

Use only genuine Honda ATF DW1 automatic transmission fluid and nothing else.
You can change a Honda Civic HX transmission to a manual transmission. It is not an easy job to do.
5 speed yes....automatic no
Yes they sell them with a manual or automatic transmission.
No it will not interchange. You need an Accord transmission from a 1990-1993.
Honda Automatic transmissions use an internal filter that is designed for the life of the transmission. It is extremely rare that one would have to be changed. Also do not do a power flush on a Honda transmission as it will ruin the internal seals.
The Honda automatic transmission is filled through the transmission dipstick hole.
