Jack up left front, place jack stand under left front lower a-frame close to but not touching the lower ball joint. Lower vehicle onto the jack stand. Remove left front tire, axle nut, caliper, brake pads, caliper bracket, rotor and shock absorber. Disconnect electrical plug from left front abs speed sensor harness (if equipped). Remove the four bolts that hold the hub assembly to the steering knuckle and remove the hub assembly and backing plate. Remove left outer tie rod nut and separate tie rod from steering knuckle. Remove upper ball joint nut and separate ball joint from steering knuckle. Remove all the bolts holding the inner axle shaft to flange. Wiggle axle shaft down and out. Take care not to tear or damage the boots on the new axle during installation. Reverse order to assemble.

You will need to remove the tire and wheel from your 1995 Chevy Cheyenne. Remove the brake assembly. Tap on the rotor with a hammer or mallet. The brake rotor will slide off. Reverse the process to install the new brake rotor.
