How do you change brake lights and center brake lights on a 2003 Toyota 4Runner?
All you need is a Phillips head screwdriver and the correct bulb. If you go to any autoparts store they can look up the correct bulb type. The owners manual shows how to take off light cover. You have to open up the hatch, unscrew the screws, and slide the light to the outside. It's pretty simple, and should cost about 4 dollars per bulb.

(Look in your owners manual for replacing the head lights for instructions to do that). There are about 8 clips that must be undone to get the grill off. Then, on the right side of the car (your left if you are facing it), is your horn (little round black thing) simply remove…

2000 Toyota 4runner instrument lights and running tail lights don't work head lights and turn signalsfront and rear do work what could be the problem you checked the fuses no power going to the lights?
More than likely the lights involved are controlled by a relay. The steering column or dash switch that you turn on would energize the relay which would close it's (heavier duty) contacts to provide power to the lights. This is more reliable than having all the current (required for the lights) going thru a switch, which is usually are not capable of reliably handling high currents. Check the wiring diagram, or get a manual from…
