1- remove the bed (~8 screws for tail lights, ~3 screws for gas filler neck, ~6 bed bolts- they are torx head (T-55???) Two strong guys can lift it right off.
2- hit the axle/spring and spring/shackle/hanger bolts with penetrating oil 2-3 times on the day before you plan to do the work in step 3.
3- raise the truck, unbolt the axle from the springs, unbolt the springs and shackles from the hangers (sometimes easier said than done, see step #2).
3.5- get the springs re-arched since they are flat and warped.
4- get some cutoff wheels for a 4" angle grinder and grind/cut the heads off all the rivets.
5- bolt on new hangers (and probably new shackles) and reassemble.
6- come over and do my truck now that you are so good at it.
