Follow the recommendations in your Buell owner's manual. Either Forumula Plus, or Sport Trans. Any 20W50 synthetic engine oil is also okay. For more detailed discussion please check out the Buell Forum at www.BadWeatherBikers.com, specifically the "Knowledge Vault" there. They have a lot of information on all sorts of Buell motorcycles and lots of good information concerning transmission lubrication.

How do you check the oil on a 07 buell blast?

Between the speedometer and the fuel tank, there is a black fitting that you can unscrew by hand. It looks like part of the tank hold-down, but that's actually your dipstick!

Oil change buell?

See the Buell Forum tech section (Knowledge Vault) at BadWeatherBikers.com for any/all technical questions (link below). And of course reference your Buell Motorcycle owner's manual; the shop/service service manual (~$60 from your dealer) is highly recommended. BadWeB also has an online copy of the old Buell Lightning service manual. Other than dipstick and oil filter locations/types, the procedure for changing oil in Buell air-cooled motorcycles hasn't changed much if at all since that manual was published. See link below.
