On my 2003 I press the mode/set button once then press and hold the mode/set button again for approx 4 seconds then use the up or down buttons to change the temp setting
because of the temp. outside
Hold down the Temp down arrow and the AMB button at the same time for three seconds and it will change and lock it in.
Hold the OUTSIDE TEMP and down on the TEMP button till it changes
Hold down the lower TEMP button together with the ABM button for 5 seconds.
To change the temp display from F to C or vice versa (like when the battery is disconnected) you press the Temp down arrow & the Amb buttons for about 5 seconds. Then the display will change. Hope you still need this & it helps. Happy New Year, CT Toolman.
Press & hold the AMB button, then while holding the AMB button in press the Temp down button for at least 3 seconds and display will change.
hold down the AMB and the down Temp button for like 3 seconds and it will switch
I have a 2003 Sorento and hopefully for you it is the same. I assume you mean change the Centigrade temp reading to Fahrenheit? Here is the complete wording from the manual: If the battery has been discharged or disconnected, the temp mode will reset as Centigrade. This is normal condition and you can adjust the temp mode from centigrade to Fahrenheit as follows: Press the Temperature "Down button" 3 seconds or more with the "AMB" button held down. The display shows that THE UNIT OF TEMPERATURE IS ADJUSTED TO CENTIGRADE OR FAHRENHEIT. It works as I changed my battery and had the same problem.
it changes the temp. by the temperature outside, like if its cold out the water will be cold and if it's hot outside than the water will be hot
