I would not go to the expense of changing air bags, they will only deteriorate again.
Order a towncar airbag conversion kit and replace the airbags with coil springs, you never have to fool with them again.
The conversion kit comes with a set of heavy duty springs, new shocks and complete instructions for about $120.00
This conversion is simple to do, all you need is a couple of floor jacks, jack stands and everyday hand tools.
It is probably because of the rear air suspension... Lincolns have an "air" suspension which helps to give it a plush riding feel. There are bags near the wheels of each rear tire that are filled with air upon vehicle start up (or very shortly thereafter). These bags are filled with air has the vehicle is on, inflating if there is a drop in pressure. When the vehicle turns off, these bags are deflated thus lowering the rear end of the car.
The Bags - 2000 was released on: USA: October 2000
before i start are you changing suspension air springs or safty restraint air bags im sorry but many people call front suspension air bags
llalalalallalala
Below is a link to the instructions for that installation.
Leak. Spray soapy water on the air suspension bags and watch for bubbles On bags. Also check in engine compartment wher the air suspension bags Top part are located 3 nuts or 4 don't remember , remove plastic cover that Hides the screw for bags. Listen for air leak from tha location. If that's where it's coming from replace bag.
I don't think you can.
No, they have an air suspension which means air bags.
Don't bother, replace with regular coil springs
They have airbags for the suspension air ride, they have air bags for the cab air ride. As far as collision air bags, some have them.

2 kg = 2 x 1000 grams = 2000 grams number of bags = 2000/250 = 8 bags
