1. Open the boot 1b Remove trim and carpet trim from behind light/over wheel arch 2. Remove the two screws on the front of the rear light assembly. Needs Torx screwdriver 2b Inside boot unscrew plastic black wingnut 2c Carefully pull entire assembly out. (The rest of the light is held in by two 'poppers' so a gentle tug should pull it out.) Unclip from the wire loom. 2d Carefully prise off lugs from rear light assembly 3. Turn each of the bulb holders anti-clockwise and pull them out.
4. Remove the old light fitting.
5. Replace each bulb holder into the correct part of the new light fitting, and replace the light. Put back the carpet & trim.
You can change the rear lights in your 2009 Ford Fiesta by removing the interior panels behind the tail lights. Push the light clip and turn it. the light will pull out to be replaced.
