if you are talking about the rear differencial pinion seal it is pretty basic first make a alingment mark on the pinion yoke, shaft and nut.remove nut 1,1/4 nut press of yoke remove and install new seal.install the yoke back on keeping the marks you made lined up.install nut tigten nut until mark on the nut is about 1/8 inch past the mark on the shaft and yoke.then install the driveshaft and everything is ready to go.no need for any backlash adjustments.hope this helps.
I have a leak on my drive shaft left front 2000 cheve Blazer I would like to replace the whole unit
you dont, if you want to disconnect it then remove your front drive shaft.
The shaft inside the trans will have to be changed it is longer in a 2 wheel drive and the taIL SHAFT.
You can but you will have to change or alter the drive shaft also.
nic
No it will not. The center shaft that run's through the inside of a 2 wheel drive trans. is shorter the the center shaft that's in a 4-wheel drive trans. The 4-wheel drive transmission center shaft is longer so it will fit into the transfur case.
yes but you would have to replace drive shafts. The 4x4 shaft is shorter due to the transfer case.
Inside the bottom of the engine block.
Next to the distributor
there could be more than one factor it sounds like the actuator is bad or if your blazer has partial vacumm control then you could have a vacumm leak

It is bolted on to the rear of the transmission. The front driveshaft will lead you right to it. Also Follow the rear drive shaft toward the front it will also lead you to it
