There are 2 kinds inside and outside the transmission, I think you are talking about the 4 cylinder with the 5 speed.

You will need to separate the engine and transmission, ( hyd lines to the cylinder will need to be disconnected before you remove it and can be accessed from under the panel around the shifter.)

the slave cylinder is integrated with the throw out bearing so you will be replacing them both at once. The slave cylinder is held on to the transmission with a simple push on metal retaining clip, be careful not to damage it as you may not get a new one with the new cylinder, the cylinder will pull out from around the input shaft easily.

Slide the new one on, making sure the hyd lines exit the rear of the bell housing through the two holes in the top on either side, secure with the retaining clip, and reinstall the trans.

Bleed the clutch after reinstalling the lines, bleeder is on the passengers side of the two lines that exit the bell housing.

Heres the cool part, this is probably the only vehicle that you can bleed the clutch by yourself.

Fill the clutch reservoir, pump the clutch pedal, hold it down, and loosen the bleeder, easily reached through the shifter hole ( panel )

tighten it again before releasing the pedal, and repeat, keep doing this until the fluid runs clear, and no more air is pushed out.
