Use a spark plug socket, long extension and ratchet. Don't over-tighten the spark plug. Just snug.
If you are changing the plugs, you might as well change the wires, cap and rotor as well. It is an inexpensive do it yourself job, (about $80 depending on what brands you buy). Just be very sure you write down on a piece of paper, what wire goes to which plug from the cap. Otherwise you will be in the shop getting it fixed. If you do not follow the correct order, you will have miss fires.

.035 is the correct gap for your Wrangler's spark plugs. That gap is correct for at least up to 2006 and likely for 2007-2009 as well.
Remove the four bolts holding the coil pack to the passenger side cylinder head. Lift coil rail off of engine. Using the appropriate sized spark plug tool, unscrew the spark plugs 1 at a time from the engine and replace with correctly gapped plugs.
4 cylinder has only 4 spark plugs and is shorter than the 6.

There is a black cover on top of the cylinder head (the one with 20V written on it), the spark plugs are under it.
There would be six spark plugs for a six cylinder engine. One for each cylinder. Unless it is a diesel, then there are no spark plugs.
