i know if you have the 5.4L V8 you will have coil packs. not spark plugs
Screwed in the heads.
I believe the dealership gets 190.00 time and plugs

beneath each individual coil pack. You need to remove a coil pack to get to a spark plug.
on top of the spark plugs in the intake manifold.
The plugs are located on the inboard side of the cylinder head near the intake manifold, under or near the fuel injection rails. You do not have spark plug wires, but rather 8 separate ignition coils that sit on top of the spark plugs.
Their are two valve covers on each side the four spark plugs are mounted in the engine block just below each of the Valve covers
they are under the little circle black things which are called coils
no special tools required except a plug wrench most socket sets have plug sized sockets in them
