Do you need to change the oil in the supercharger everytime you change the engine oil?

Normally, the supercharger will pull oil from the engines oil pan meaning that when you change the engine oil it also changes the oil in the S/C. However, the supercharger may have either its own reservoir or have an independent drain of its own. Due to the high temperatures this part may incur, I recommend a change when you change the engine oil sense the part is so expensive to replace and it has such strain placed on it.

How do you flush and fill the supercharger on a 2005 Chevrolet Monte Carlo?

Do not spray any cem. into the supercharger. This will strip the teflon coating on the supercharger rotors. However you do need to change the oil out in the supercharger. There is a little plug located by the pulley. It is a hex bolt and you need to undo it and then suck the oil out of it. You will then need to fill the oil back up just below the plug. Make sure you use the special supercharger oil called. "Supercharger oil" from GM. Thank you, From www.SuperchargersOnline.com

Where is the reservoir for the supercharger oil 1998 gran prix gtp?

The resevour is in the supercharger snout. Oil access is through an Allen plug on the front side of the snout. Oil level should be maintained to the bottom of the plug threads. Check level at every oil change as oil will weep out around the supercharger pulley over time. Change the oil every 30K miles.

How would you drain the oil from a supercharger in a 1994 Buick park avenue ultra?

You don't. It uses the same oil for lube as the engine. When you change the engine oil, you are changing the supercharger oil. * On the 92 PA ultra, The supercharger is sealed. The oil plug is next to the drive pulley, on the side closest to the firewall. Suck the old oil out with a turkey baster or similar, and refill with a high quality synthetic, or with GM specific Supercharger oil.

How often does the supercharger oil in a 1998 Pontiac grand prix gtp have to be changed and is it harmful to the supercharger if it has not been changed for a long time?

Usually you should plan on changing your supercharger oil once a year or every 20-30,000 miles. And yes it can be harmful to the supercharger to not change the oil in it, just as not changing the oil in the engine would be not to change it. Folks the oil cooling the superchargers I am aware of is the same oil from the same reservoir as in the engine. So when you change oil in the engine you are changing oil in the Supercharger as well. If this is not the case, someone please tell me as well. The oil in the supercharger is not the same as engine oil. Do not use regular engine oil in the supercharger on the GTP, it requires special oil. It is not connected to the same resevoir, it is totally separate. The last comment informing that the Supercharger oil is entirely different and not connected to the engine oil completely correct. Regarding charing the supercharger oil, the owner's manual states the following: "Unless you are technically qualified and have the proper tools, you should let your dealer or a qualified service center perform this maintanence." The owners manual then goes on to state that the oil in the supercharger should be every 30,000 miles or 36 months - whichever is sooner. To check your oil on the supercharger, do the following: 1. Make sure your engine is cold - i.e. at least 2-3 hrs after running. 2. Clean the area around the fill plug on the supercharger so no debris or impurities get in the system. 3. Remove the oil fill plug w/ a 3/16" allen/hex wrench. 4. The oil level is correct when it just reaches the bottom threads on the inspection hole. 5. Repleace the oil plug w/ the O-ring in place. 6. Torque to 88lb-in. The type of oil for the supercharger is Supercharger Oil GM Part No. 12345982. -gz1

Where at on the engine does the supercharger fluid go?

Depending on the supercharger, it will require a special blend of synthetic oil. This synthetic oil normally is located in the supercharger itself. Most superchargers will have a hex nut located on the front of the supercharger. This area is used to drain and fill up the supercharger oil. You cannot use just any synthetic oil, you will have to use "Supercharger Oil"
