Ha! Good luck! I broke down in the middle of Nowhere, Montana ... but did have the good fortune to run into a mechanic who, despite all my fears, was able to do this. Believe it or not, you need to actually drop the engine to accomplish this. But it's not as hard as it sounds. There's really only a couple of bolts on the alternator side. Place a hydraulic jack beneath the engine, remove the bolts, and gently lower the engine ... it should drop three or four inches. I should say you'll have to do all of this via the wheel well of the right front tire ... remove it ... my mechanic actually unhooked some of the suspension too, but in hindsight I don't think he had to do that. This is not an easy job my friend!
The crankshaft sensor is on the side of the engine behind the alternator. It is mounted close to the oil filter,
where can you find a diagram of 1994 pontiac grand am motor?
you should have an motor mount on the passenger side of your car you need to jack the motor up on the oil pan and pull that mount of there should be six bolts to on the top and 4 on the connector plate that connects your motor to the car pull those and that pieces should fall down the you will need to take the belt of the alternator and the remove the bols in the alternator
Please email me a photo of where the blower motor resistor is and how to change it. Thanks, Michael. By the way I want it for a 2000 Sunfire not a Grand Am.
