With the hood open remove the (2) two headlamp assembly bolts from the upper fascia support.
Slide the headlamp assembly outward enough to release the headlamp bracket tabs from the slots in the upper fascia support.
Position the headlamp assembly away from the vehicle body to access the electrical connector.
Disconnect the electrical connector from the headlamp assembly.
Remove the headlamp assembly from the vehicle.
This gives you access to the turn signal and headlight.
If you wish to change the halogen bulb:
Disconnect the electrical connector from the turn signal bulb/socket.
Remove the turn signal bulb/socket retainer ring from the assembly, by turning counterclockwise.
Remove the turnsignal bulb/socket from the assembly.
to re-assemble simply do the reverse.

You can change the front turn signal, on your 2006 Pontiac Montana, by removing the retaining nuts. Remove the wiring harness. The turn signal will come free. Reverse the process to install the new turn signal.

sorry i cant answer that ? but just curious I have a 2003 Pontiac grand am se and the front brakes have to be replaced about every 7 months, are you haviing any problem like that with your car?
