To remove the tank, position your wood and jack under the ank remove any hoses you can reach. Remove the two big straps that hold the tank to the underbody, and SLOWLY lower the tank with the floorjack. Remove fuel lines and wires as they become accessible as you are lowering the tank. Once you get the tank on the floor, you can remove the large fuel pump lock ring in the middle of the tank. It just releases by turning it counter-clockwise(a hammer and a screwdriver may help you to turn it).
