Believe the fuel pump is mounted in the petrol tank. Access is easily gained by lifting the rear seats and carpets. You will find a large black plastic plug in the floor about 6 inches diameter, prise out using a screw driver. Unscrew the plastic ring that holds the pump into the top of the tank. This is done by hand but can be stiff so may need a bit of gentle persuasion i.e. tapping round with a hammer. Disconnect the wiring plug at the top of the tank. The fuel pump is clipped in and needs only pulling out by hand. Refitting is the reverse of above, found the only tools needed were a screw driver to prise out the large floor plug and a hammer and screw drive to start the screw cap moving anti clockwise. Make sure that the cap is tight, it has a rubber ring/gasket beneath it to prevent fumes escaping into the car, may need gentle persuasion again to finally tighten.

There is no fuel filter in the 307s. The fuel pump which is located in the fuel tank and can be accessed by lifting the rear seat acts as a fuel filter, and therefore it is not replaceable, unless you change the fuel pump which regularly lasts for 80.000 klm.
i laik to remuve the fuel pump

The fuel filter in is the fuel pump in the gas tank you cannot change it, Declan.
The 1995 Mitsubishi Mirage fuel filter is located inside of the fuel tank. The fuel tank will need to be drained in order to change the fuel filter.
