How do you change the glass on a side door mirror both drivers and passenger side for a 2004 Chevy Tahoe LT The glass has turn signal in it?
all you have to do is pry it off by hands ,but be very carefull not to crack the glass and when the glass pops off unclip the wiring harness for the mirror
I actually replace my drivers side mirror. I is a mechanical mirror with the turn signal on it. There is a small triangular door panel piece near the mirror. Remove it and remove the 2 or 3 bolts holding the mirror. Remove inside door panel. Unplug/replug electrical connection. The whole process was quite easy (believe it or not)!
It's not easy. There are five plastic retainer clips that have to be released to allow the cover on the front side of the mirror assembly to be removed. Two on top, Two on the botton, and one on the drivers side (near botton of side). Do this on a warm day when the plastic is more workable. You can only access them from the mirror side between the mirror frame and the mirror assembly…
Your vehicle has 2 flasher relays. One for the turn signals and one for the hazard lights. The turn signal flasher is located on the drivers side under the dash, mounted on the passenger side of the steering column. The Hazard flasher is located on the drivers side, under dash, above kick panel, mounted in the bottom of the convince panel.
There are 2 flasher relays. One for the turn signals and one for the hazard lights. The Turn Signal flasher is located on the drivers side, passenger side of steering column, under dash mounted near cigarette lighter. Optionally it can be mounted under the dash on the drivers side of the steering column. The Hazard flasher relay is mounted in the exact same locations.
The aurora has no traditional speedometer cable. There are two sensors that send a signal to the speedometer. the first and easiest to change is located on the passenger side front transaxle, top side. Pray that it is that one because the other is located on the transmission. To remove the output sensor there is only 1 bolt and then you can lift the sensor from the well.Is easier if you use an inspection mirror.
