Volvo headlight wipers are dual purpose wipers. Not only are they designed to remove water to clarify your trip at night in the rain but it is also used to remove dirt, grime, grease, the owners lipstick and/or Chapstick. As Volvo owners fall in love with their Volvo's, they tend to become clingy and get a little too close to their cars. Sometimes Volvo owners can't see at night because they have spoiled their cars and the car begins to use lipstick and Chapstick as well and in some instances have been found kissing other Volvo's. This kissing of one car to another can scratch the lens' surface of the headlight, if there is anything on the lens of either vehicle, such as dirt, grime, grease, lipstick or Chapstick.
unplug the bulb, then remove the metal clips on front of headlight that secure it to the grill. pull the headlight straight out of the front of the grill. This is the best way to change the bulb as well.
