You may want to look into replacing your temp sending unit first. assuming the reason you want to change is because its not working. The unit is located on the underside of your thermostat housing, follow your upper radiator hose to find it.

Changing the instrument panel lights require removal of the dashboard. With the dashboard removed pull the gauge cluster out and take off the bulbs. Install the new bulbs.
