this is where it is...UNDER HOOD, CENTER, REAR ENGINE AREA, MOUNTED ON AIR INTAKE MANIFOLD. Its a 4 wire plug. the sensor isn't much bigger than the plug. Just 2 bolts torqs if I remember. This link gives info for a 95 but the location is the same as it the procedure. just remember that the IAT and MAP sensors are combined into one on your car. http://www.autozone.com/servlet/UiBroker?ForwardPage=/az/cds/en_us/0900823d/80/19/8f/33/0900823d80198f33.jsp
Change in MAP sensor reading beyond limits.
Get a tune-up ... change plugs, etc etc. The MAP sensor was probable only part of the problem.
the map sensor should be on the right fender well or right fire wall it has one wire plug and one vacume plug
Not very well.
Map sensor circuit voltage highMap sensor circuit voltage high
i need a diagram of wher the map sensor is.
It doesn't have a MAF sensor, the Map sensor is on the front of the throttle body.
The Dodge Neon does not have a MAF (Mass Air Flow) Sensor. It does, however, have a MAP (Mass Air Pressure) sensor located on the intake manifold between the two left runners.
The map sensor comes standard on a 1998 Toyota Rav4. It is typically located on the dashboard panel on the drivers side of the car.
I'm not a mechanic / technician but I checked www.motorcraft.com ( all 3 engines ) and it does not list a MAP sensor
A 1998 Jeep Cherokee does not have a mass airflow sensor. It uses a manifold pressure sensor, MAP, which is on the rear of the intake manifold.
no double 'l' in grateful. Go to a car mechanic and ask him he specializes in it!!!!!
