The air shocks on your Expedition are easily changeable. Most of the time its a remove and replace situation. There are so many parts to the air suspension system that if you are not comfortable changing them I would say to take your vehicle to a mechanic.
My husband thought that the rear passenger side air bag was busted on our Expedition until we bought and replaced both bags in the rear. It was the start of a costly experience. After replacing the rear air parts, we realized there was holes all though the lines. I would highly recommend checking out Strutmasters.com. They offer great non air conversion kits for Expedition's. I am sure glad that I found them. I saved a lot of money buying on of their kits. My mechanic installed it in no time and I don't have to worry about the air again.
