I believe you mean just changing the pads. On the front, you use a C-clamp to push the pistons back in. DO NOT DO THIS ON THE REAR! To return the pistons, you have to spin them like a nut on a bolt. I don't recall the direction, but start spinning the piston and it should go in or out...then you'll know. Also...if you used a C-clamp, there's a good chance you ruined the caliper. Replacing the caliper is not hard either and pretty self explanatory. If you replace one, make sure you bleed them when your done. Bleeding brakes is a 2-person job. You'll need a buddy to push the brake pedal down and hold it while you loosen and tighten the bleeder nut.
