I have the 93 V6 4x4 and the starter is just below your oil filter. I'd drain the oil and take off the oil filter first. Then the easiest way is to take of your front passenger tire and pull back the protective shield. Believe me this will save you some time and agony unless you're a contortionist or have small hands and arms. After you break the bolts loose, three of them if I remember correctly, and have taken off the starter contacts it should come right out of there. Installation is a breeze as it's just the opposite of removal. I changed mine awhile ago and am looking at changing it again here soon. My advice is to go with a quality or OEM starter. I bought an after market starter and I've been having problems with it working for awhile now.
It is part of the starter, and is not available seperatly.
Yes it will.
Look at the Drivers side, they should be the same.
Try looking at the other headlight plug
no
The transmissions that are made for a 4x4 has a longer center shaft in it so the trans-fur case will bolt onto it. The 2-wheel drives have a short shaft cause there's no need for a transfur case.
All these 92 elements (including also Np and Pu) are considered now natural elements.
It is BUILT into the Alternator, It is all 1 unit.
Sounds to me like the clutch is shot, assuming it is a standard shift.
MAYBE IN POWER DISTRIBUTION BOX OR IN HARNESS AT COMPRESSOR
Follow the + battery cable should connect to the starter relay (solenoid)
remove the bolts holding the transmission inspection plate Best I recall there is like 4 or 5 holding it in place when the inspection plate is dropped the starter will come out at same time with a little wiggling I just replaced a starter in a 1993 s10 blazer 4.3 and experienced the same problem Hope this helps
