The same engines were used in Rover 3500 sedans and some other cars. The Leyland 4.4 liter V8 is also the same bell housing and was used in the P76 and the Terrier truck. Conversion adapters are available to fit Ford V8 and six, LS1, Chev V8 and Holden V8. The Diesel is different, it has a different bell housing and input shaft but it can be modified.
