Yes all H6 Subaru Engines have timing chains
looking for info on locating water pump and timing belt on 99 subaru outback 2.5 liter motor, hopefully with a diagram...thank you
The 1993 Subaru Legacy 2.2 liter engine ignition timing is the sequence that allows the engine to run smoothly. The ignition timing is synchronized with the crankshaft position sensor.
On a 2.5 liter engine it is located behind the timing belt cover. My advise, replace the timing belt when you replace the timing belt. It will have to come off anyway.
how to change timing belt for 2003 1.8 liter turbo volkswagon engine
how do you change a timing belt on a 1998 Plymouth breeze 2.0 liter engine
The recommended replacement for the Timing Belt (aka Camshaft Drive Belt) on the H-4 is 48 months or 60,000 miles. The 3.0 Liter H-6 has Timing Chains with no Periodic Inspection and/or replacement required.....
The 3.8 liter V6 engine has a timing CHAIN
It has an interference engine ( according to Gates , they manufacture timing belts etc. )
There is no timing belt on 2.5L Fieros, the cam is gear driven.
Very.
The 2004 2.0 liter Pontiac Grand Am does not have a timing belt, but instead has a timing chain which requires no maintenance.
