How do you change the timing chain on a 1996 cavalier?

Unless you know what you are doing, which you must not or you would not ask the question, take it to a professional. Way too complicated a procedure to post on-line.

OK, take it to a professional; If I could afford that then I would not be asking now would I? Boy, some people just like to kick others when they are down! If I had or could afford a manual I would buy it too, then I could do it anyway, since I am/was an ASE Master for a decade;/ expired 1998. I have 6 kids and two of their cars are in my driveway. The Mazda is simple, the Cavalier 4 cylinder timing chain and sprockets with no marks is something else. Other than piston TDC; Other than valves on compression stroke; the simple question is??? Which of the teeth on the Cam sprocket is WHERE? I have no job, I am disabled protecting this dam country full of; people just like you, worthless.
