most vehicles with auto transmissions do not have a drain plug for the trans fluid, you remove the pan from the bottom to release the fluid.
It is a good idea to replace the pan gasket after removing pan.

Honda Accords DO have a drain plug in the transmission, they do NOT have a pan, and the fluid filter is not accessible with the transmission installed in the car.
The drain plug has a square indentation, use your regular 3/8" drive ratchet to remove it. The plug is located on the lower right front edge of the transmission, easily accessed by removing the right front tire.
