If the product is unopened, it can last a couple of years. If it has been opened, it can last about a half a year.
It is on the driver side under the washer fluid container. You have to remove the cross support bar and the washer fliud conainer and the airfilter box. It takes about a half hour to remove and replace. All bolts are metric.
Open the rear door. On the passenger side about half-way up the opening (outside the rubber door seal) is a little black cup with a lid that says "washer fluid only". I assume you are missing the lid :)
The reservoir is located in the rear of the Kia. Open back door and look half-way up on the right hand side. There is a symbol of a windshield washer, on a small pull out. You'll need something with a flexible tube to fill it.
The friction clutches are worn down to the metal and you are hearing the steel clutches bang agaist them every time you put it in gear. Basically it is just worn out and will soon leave you stranded. DON'T CHANGE THE FLUID!!! It will kill over almost instantly if you do.

I call it "one half fluid ounce". It can also be described as "0.5 fl oz" or as "4 fluid drams".
You must mean fluid ounces (ounces are weights, fluid ounces are volumes). There are 80 fluid ounces in a UK half gallon. There are 63.999999 US fluid ounces in a US half gallon.
