On these vehicles its an entire bearing hub assembly.I just recently did this on my wifes 2002 rendezvous and it wasnt as bad as i thought.Jack up the vehicle remove the wheel.Remove the break caliper bolts and swing the caliper off to the side.Then remove the two bolts that hold on the bracket that the caliper bolts to.Next remove the center axle nut. Then look on the back where the axle goes through the hub,you will see three bolts in a triangular pattern remove the bolts un plug the ABS sensors and and pull the entire wheel hub assembly.The whole process took me about 2 hours.

you can't replace just the front wheel bearings, they are sealed so you have to replace the entire hub assemble and it will cost approximately $130 each side.

You have to replace the hub assembly which is expensive. Cost me $226.00 for one for the rear. They aren't hard to change. Take the brake caliper off. Then take the 2 bolts out on the plate that holds the brake shoes. There are three bolts holding the hub assembly in. Take them out and pull the hub out. I was able to leave the parking brake in.
