3 quarts dry 2.5 quarts wet
3 quart of synthetic oil
I'm trying to change my oil on my 08 heritage softail. I located a drain plug under the bike but that doesn't seem to be it. I believe it is the transmission oil and now I have two problems. I would like to know how to add and check the transmission fluid and how and where to locate the oil drain plug. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
In my experience, this task can be done for $75.00 up to $200.0 Depending on who you can fine. Not all that hard to do yourself. Time consuming. Have fun today
Disconnect the battery, remove the air hose to the throttle body, remove the access plate, remove the spark plug cables and the boots, and remove the spark plugs. Replace the spark plugs, replace the boots and cables, replace the access plate, attach the air hose to the throttle body and connect the battery.
