its best to disconnected the negative battery cable but check to make sure its ok to do so because of security system and such. i didn't and it was fine. drain cooling system. loosen the 4 pulley bolts but don't remove until you remove drive belt. use 15mm wrench on belt tensioner push towords fire wall and remove belt. write down belt routing around pulleys so when you reinstall it. remove bolts from pulley and water pump bolts. 1 bolt can't be removed till Power Steering pump is loosened. there is 1 bolt you have to remove from power steering pump and 1 you have to loosen. top 1 you remove bottom 1 you loosen. they can be reached through the holes in power steering pulley. push PS pump towards fire wall remove bolt from water pump. clean surfaces use new gasket with a little sensor safe gasket sealer reinstall. fill with proper coolant.
