You alone cannot. I have been struggling for two days. The bearing is pressed in, and the inner bearing race, so I have discovered, tends to stay on the shaft. I broke a 2 ton puller trying to get it off.

If you get the hub out, the bearing will disintegrate. Once you have done this, there is no turning back.

Instead of Timken tapered roller bearings, they use ball bearings, which are 111 years out of date and unacceptable for use in automobiles.

My advice- do not attempt. It is not a one day job.

It takes a machinist or somebody with similar pneumatic tools.

This was on an '01 model. similar years may be of the same construction.
