Remove the brakes and rotor. you should be able to bang the stud straight through to the back. if you have trouble inserting the new stud you may have grind down one side.
To remove wheel studs from a 2000 Honda Civic the wheel needs to be removed. Taking the wheel hub completely off the vehicle makes the process of removing the studs easier. The studs are pressed in and use of a machine press to remove them is recommended.

The front wheel hub on a 1994 Honda Civic is connected to the upper control arm and lower. Remove those as well as the axle. Also remove the brake caliper, rotor, and pads. The hub will come off and the studs will then be able to be reached.

I don't think it is a 15"-I have just bought a 15" wheel on EBay - it has 4 studs but when held against the car, Honda Civic, (November 2007) which has 16" wheels looks quite wrong.. Assume therefore that a 16" spare wheel is required. PaulAllcroft@btinternet.com
Front studs on a 1999 Honda Accord are pressed in. First the studs must be removed using a hammer or press. Once remove each stud can be pressed in.
The ECU is located at the passenger's angled foot rest under the mats. It is held in place by a cover and 4 nuts on fixed studs. Three connectors with push releases are attached to it.

If it's just rust on the mounting surface, you can take a small section of wood (2x4) and hold it on the inside of the rim and hammer it off. it may also help to spray penetrant past the wheel studs and hub area.
It is 5 studs at a 114.3 mm spacing, commonly called 5 x114.3.
