you have to take the wheel off first of all.Then you will see,bolted on to the axle,right over top the brake rotor is the brake caliper,fastened by two bolts that you remove,causing the whole caliper to come loose.next u will see two more bolts of close to the same size holding the brake slider in place.remove them.now u can remove the pads from the slider.before putting the new pads in the slider, take two c-clamps and push both plungers back as far as they go.now,put the new pads in place,bolt the slider onto the caliper,bolt the caliper to the axle mount,and put the wheel back on. You didn't mention what year the S10 is but, you can probably remove the 2 small screws that hold the lens to the housing and you will have access to the bulbs.
