There are 2 ways to test it, Both ways require the cart to be hooked up and energy running through it all,
1.) Take a spare piece of wire and put the car in gear and hit the pedal and touch the two large terminals of the solenoid and if the wheels spin that means the solenoid is BAD if it doesnt spin then you might want to check your microswitches and wires.
2.) measure the 2 small terminals with a mulitmeter ad depending on the voltage of your cart it should show up on the multimeter.
