See Power Steering Fluid on page 6-28 of your "Owner's Manual", under Section 6: Service and Appearance Care - Checking Things Under the Hood.....
Check fuses in power distribtution block under hood
check your fuses i believe they are on both sides of the dash and under the hood. if it is an aftermarket radio check to see if you are getting accessory power
check the fluid level in the power steering reservoir and make sure it's where it should be.
The 2009 chevy impala lt 3.5 has 211 horsepower but is a v6. You an get the 2009 chevy impala ss 5.3 which is a v8 with 303 horsepower
With the engine cold, remove the cap on the power steering pump. Inside the cap is a dipstick with a marking for both the cold and hot fluid levels
Check to see if you are getting power to fan motor turn on A/C or defroster If you are getting power to fan - then fan is defective If not check fuse Could be temperature sending unit in radiator
At th power steering pump reservoir.
