Also, have someone check your spark plugs, plug wires, and your fuel pump. I say fuel pump because after we fixed the starter problem. The fuel pump went bad. Check the following....battery connections, look for loose connections, corroded connectors or cables. Check connections at the starter. If possible (if you have tools and know how) check for proper voltage at the starter.

Proper battery connections could be at fault, how old is your battery? Check for loose and corroded terminals on your battery and starter connections. Also the starter might just be bad.

Check the cables that go to the starter, make sure they arnt disconnected and they have good clean connections. Check the battery terminal connections to make sure they are clean and not corroded. Check starter relay switch, normally near the battery, it may need replacement.
