The vin Number for a Yamaha PW80 can be located in 2 places. 1) At the side of the frame where the forks clamp into the yokes. (Turn the handle bars to the right & then look at the frame between the petrol tank & the forks on the left). 2) On the left hand side of the engine. BOTH OF THESE NUMBERS SHOULD BE VERY CLEARLY VISIBLE & BOTH NUMBERS SHOULD BE EXACTLY THE SAME! If they aren't, the bike may have had another engine fitted or if not clearly visible may have been stolen.
The proper oil level in a 2002 Yamaha s-star 1100 classic would be the level where on the stick it meets the right mark so that you dont under or over fill the tank.

AnswerIf its the 2 stroke oil you want to put in, it needs to be mixed in a petrol can with the petrol, usually to a ratio of 50;1. If its the engine oil it only goes in the clutch housing as it is a wet clutch. If the hole is about half way up the casing, it usually means you keep bike upright and top up until its running back out the hole. Note: Although the above answer will work, the PW80 is an auto-injector bike. The oil tank is located under the seat which is removed with 2 10mm nuts accessed under the rear fender. There is a viewing window on the left side cover to check the oil level. You should use Auto-Injection 2-stroke oil available from a Yamaha dealer.we have one in the family. you have to remove the seat as above but you do not have to mix the petrol and oil yourself

In a stock PW80, there is no need to mix oil with the fuel. The oil is injected into the carburetor throat by the oil pump. The factory ratio is estimated to be about 24:1, which is quite rich. On bikes with the oil pump disabled, ratios as lean as 40:1 have been tried with success. The optimum ratio will ultimately depend on the elevation and the jetting used There is an oil tank under the seat
remove the seat loosen the gas tank bolts turn the gas switch off pull the hose off the carb gently to not spray gas everywhere pull the tank off pour it upside down in a gas safe container unscrew a small screw at the very bottom of the carb and it will drain the gas from the bowl as well
check your floats and make sure there is no rust in the tank and you have sufficient flow through your jets.
If you know your vehicle uses oil then check the level at least once a week. If you know it does not use any oil then check it every time you fill the fuel tank.
