First, remove a section of the air intake. The section that needs to be removed is the bit that goes from the bottom of the air filter box (where the mass air flow sensor is) to above the radiator. You will now be able to see all the way down to the crank pulley. There is a scale next to the crank pulley marked... 10 | T The 'T' stands for top-dead-center. The 10 stands for 10 degrees advanced. Anything on the other side of the 'T' is retarded.
