It is building up pressure. Too much fluid, or the vent is clogged.
nothing.
Transmission overfilled ? so when the transmission fluid is heated up it expands and comes out the vent tube Have you been driving through water ? Got water in transmission so its overfilled , resulting in transmission fluid coming out of vent tube
The vent tube could be clogged.
NO THERE IS NOT. Now there is a VENT tube in the top of the transmission that relieves pressure that builds up in the transmission when truck is being driven. You should never OVERFILL a transmission... If it has to much fluid in it, then it can push it out of the vent tube and to the ground. If the transmission is getting to HOT then it may also push fluid out of the vent tube.
no it has a vent if it is coming out the vent it is over full.
clogged intake line or restricted vent tube.
The vent is on the front pump. It is inside the bell housing.
There should be a vent tube just above the in and out oil fittings on trans. It may be hard to see if trans is installed in vehicle.
Take drain plug out from bottom of pan. Fill thru the vent tube until fluid comes out of the drain.
On my 97 SC1, the vent is a tube between battery and firewall. Not sure if the same on the SC2.
Assuming you mean transmission vent: 1) Excessively high fluid level. 2) Tube has hose incorrectly located.
