Fuel system cleaner usually does a pretty good job, "heet" is a pretty good job, fuel injector cleaner cleans the injectors/carborator/gas tank/ and yeah... pretty much everything, the only thing you have to do after using a fuel additive, is to buy a new fuel filter, you would have to do that because the chemicals from the additive clean the sediment and other gunk from the bottom of the gastank, and all that crap goes throguh the fuel filter, plugging it up. A 1995 Volvo 850 Turbo Station Wagon's fuel filter is only about $15.00 at napa, and "heet" is only like $4.00
There are specific products for fuel tank cleaning. The items mentioned above are only temporary fixes and are not reliable tank cleaning methods.
