The best way is to buy the OBD II scanning tool and erase them using the directions supplied. You can also disconnect the battery for a few minutes and reconnect. If you do this, you need to take the vehicle out and drive it, with several miles to include highway speeds so that the computer can "learn" the parameters again. If you have not fixed the problem that lit the check engine light it will just come right back on.
