Firstly there is a little white button on the top of your controller, you turn on your Xbox and then turn on ur controller - or use the controller to turn on Xbox W/e its fine either way.. ANYWAYS-- There is also a little white button on the front of your Xbox if you hold down the white button on the top of your controller the ring will start spinning, after that hold down the button on the front of your Xbox - NOT - the power button D:< - then just wait for both of them to stop spinning and there you have it... , Jared C.

1. buy the xbox wireless adapter and connect through that.
2. use a laptop and an ethernet cable. to connect to wireless one must bridge the wifi and Local Area Connections.
3. Lastly, one can use their phone with internet tethering capability and a data plan.
the second option is my favorite one since it's the most cost effective and it works great.

∙ 10y agoConnect the USB wireless adapter to the rear USB port.
Be aware tho, it has to be one without drivers! If it needs to install drivers it won't work. Microsoft has their own version for around $100 US.
It should be able to be setup via a computer then just plug and play on the X-Box. Just like a repeater or router is setup.
